Friday during the press confrence I presented our part of the rover, CorNav. I explained to the auddience that the CorNav team has already attached the light sensor to the rover. And we are already trying new and improved programs in the test beds. Also, while the other groups shared their rovers, the scientist and programmer of the CorNav team, asked questions on the many different designs used by the other teams. We have picked up many ways now, on how we can improve our rover. And in final news, we announced our rover's name, Capability. K. Lewis, CorNav
On Friday we had a press confrence. One member from each team went up infront of everyone and talked about where we are in the process of the rover. From the CorNav Team Katie talked about how we have already attached the light senor. She also mentioned that we that we were progamming, and testing the light sensor in the test bed. -G. On Friday in our press confrerence we taled about how far we are in the process of making the touch sensers work. Right now we are in the process of changing the mount for the touch senser all so we have got the rover to move.

We said our current status was that we built 2 iPod mounts that fit on the sides of the rover. Our goal was to get one more iPod mount built and attatched to the front. At the conference, one person from each team went up and spoke what we planned. At the end of the presentation, the project manager called on people from the audience to ask us questions. I thought it was a great learning experience and we had over 100 veiwers!

At Friday's press conference, I, the engineer of the IDep team prestented our ChemCam, and announced what the process is with it. Our process is that we were about to test to see if our arm that is going to go down onto the lasers button will actually push it. Also I talked about how the heat shield is finished but we still have to build the base were Capibility would be siting.
