Rovers are Over-Great Job!!

In a well written paragraph (or more-intro, details, conclusion) discuss your experience during the Rover project.  What did you like the most/least?  What was your biggest challenge, how did you overcome it and what did you learn from it?  How will doing a project like this help you in the future?

  2. The rover capability was the most disapointing project. when mr fahy told us he faked it. But it was fun being the programmer even know we didn't need it at all.

  3. Rover Capability was definatly the most nervracking part for me, i was an engineer of the IDep team, and our team created the ChemCam, so it was a very exciting part to see our ChemCam work successfully.

  4. Rover Capability was exetinting to watch but to build was even better because I got to bulid the Magnetic Feild Oriantation team and I was very Excited when the M.F.O sensor found north and was able to follow curiositys path.

  5. The Rovers all did a nice job in my oppinion. What I like most would have to be all the great design ideas for the heat shield. However, I didn't like that the CorNav team had a hard time at first with the launch sequence. I say our biggest challenge was trying to fix the program so that it ran properly. But we managed to fix it.

  6. The Rover Capability project was good and very helpful. It helped me learn how to speak in front of lots of people and it helped me work in a group.

  8. What i like was all the designing and building. I liked designing the most because it gave us a chance to show our ideas to people. i also liked designing because we got a chance to help with what the rover looks like and what features it had.

  9. The one thing I had a problem with multipull time is that the rover was so small and everyone needed it for something. It helped all of us understand how to work in a group setting. Also, we will be able to do the next project even better because we will have more experience.

  10. The rover capability was the most disapointing project. When mr Fahy told us he faked it about the troubleshooting. But it was fun being the programmer even know we didn't need it at all. Our biggest problem was we didn't have a program but we didn't need one.

  11. The Rover, Capability was fun to work on and be a part of. It made me very nervous but it was worth it. We all suceeded and it was a fun process. It also gave me the experience of talking and communicating with others that i usually wouldnt talk to. It was fun to come together and work on a project that was sucessful and be glad together. We were all happy that all of our hard work paid off. Overall, this project was fun and i enjoyed being a part of it.

  12. The rover project was a great way for me to get to be better at working as a team. The thing I liked the most was the experience that I got from the project. I think that the biggest challange we had to overcome was getting the arm to go down and hit the laser everytime. This project we help me later in my life because it got me to work as a team and the be able to talk infront of large amounts of groups.

  13. What I liked the most was how we bilt it from scratch and had to desion it. I liked it the most because it let me show my ideas to the group. I did not like when we had to end the project.

  14. I had a great experience durin g this rover project. Going into it, I thought it would be a boring project doing something I had absolutely no intrest in doing, but once Mr. Fahy started to explain it and us actually being put in out teams and experimenting, I came around to enjoying the rover project. The thing I liked the most about this project was only having 4 rovers, one per group. I liked working with alot of people beacuse eveyone has different ideas and when you put ideas together you get something great. I didnt like the time limit we were restricted to beacuse some groups were not as ready as we couldve been. The biggest challenge for me was having to collaborate with all the other teams in my group and having to modify the iPod mount to fit on the rover, and so it could capture the laser. I got to get a taste of what people at NASA have to do every day all the time. This project helped me with my public speaking and it helped my collaboration skills.

  15. Rover Capability was a fun project, it kinda inspired me to build models and create skits for theater and such!! However, the ROVERS ability to stay where it needed to and do what it needed to do disappointed me we all spent so long on a ROVER that slightly failed. the MFO team really didn't run into problems and there wasn't all to much we had to fix. I wanna thank Mr.Patterson for saving Capability!! in the end the project was really fun and exciting!!

  16. The Rover Capibility project was very fun experience. One big challenge I faced was trying to attach the iPod mount to the Rover Capibilty. For example when ever I placed the iPod mount on the rover we would always have to take it off so we could fix something. I was worried that our rover was going to fail, but it didn't. This project will help me in the future by helping me speak in front of big crowds . Overall this has been a very fun learning experience.

  17. This project was truely a wonderful experience. I got to work close to friends, and I even had a large speaking role, which I got to share with my friend Alex. Seeing the rovers finally take off was so cool, but also nerve wrecking. If one thing went wrong, the entire rover project would have failed. Even when my rover wasn't exploring Mars, I felt very nervous for the other teams; I wanted them all to finish their missions. But when it was our Rover's turn, I got even more nervous, but when we completed our mission I felt so relieved. But over all this project has showed what it is like working in a big group with many people. And it has also made me comfortable speaking in front of big crowds.

  18. The rover capability was the best part for me because i got to program and build the magnetic field sensor. The biggest challenge for me was at the end when we had to talk in misson control but we practiced and it mad me feel better to speak in front of the large group and people at home.
